**The role**:
We are seeking a SaaS Configuration Specialist to join our team, in Melbourne, working under a 50/50 Work from Home/Office Hybridto deliver workforce management solutions. You will be given product learning and have full access to Optko’s software and solution partners, including any training and onboarding you require.

**Summary of Position**

We are seeking a skilled SaaS Configuration Specialist who will configure software solutions to meet client requirements. Reporting to the CTO and working with our project team and software partners, you’ll initially be working on a project for a major Australian airline. This role is for an immediate start.

**In this role, you will**:

- Use customer data and business logic to map complex excel data and formulas into a SaaS product to meet the client requirements.
- Identify and work collaboratively with the SaaS supplier to resolve any data rules that do not directly translate into the SaaS product.
- Configure the SaaS solution by using the clients’ data and formulas.
- Collaborate with the client to ensure the SaaS configuration and data mapping has been correctly implemented. Work together with the client to adjust SaaS configuration as needed.
- Map existing datasets from the customer business systems across to the SaaS solution, including HR systems data, training data, rostering and scheduling data, and other operational data as required.
- Assist the client to conduct UAT and to ensure the SaaS solution meets the clients’ requirements.
- Assist our project team in meetings, client workshops to perform the duties as directed by the CTO or project manager.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Data Science. Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- High proficiency using MS Excel
- Experience in configuring complex software solutions, ideally to an enterprise client base
- Strong verbal and written communication (English) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with large datasets.
- Knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, OracleDB is strongly preferred.
