**FP&A Manager - Renewables - CBD**

**Company Background**

One of Australia’s leading renewables businesses, backed by one of the World’s largest Infrastructure players, is significantly expanding their local footprint with multiple acquisitions of solar, wind and battery assets. To support their targeted and ambitious growth plans, the Senior Management team and Board have identified the urgent need for a strong, FP&A Manager to lead the group function.

**The Role**

Reporting to the CFO and partnering with the SLT, this role will oversee the Group Financial, Planning and Analysis function, in what is a highly complex and inquisitive business. More specifically the role will be responsible for the:

- Preparation of key deliverables and analysis related to the Group’s annual Budget and quarterly forecast process for Group Management and the Board
- Partner with the Business to drive business outcomes including insights, analysis and recommendations that will drive strategic decisions
- Managing the forecasting and budget drivers across the executive level and working with the heads of
- Business Plan and Budget Preparation with a focus on drivers
- Assist with the implementation of business intelligence tools for real-time financial reporting and analytics, providing management with timely insights for informed decision-making
- Development of dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking financial performance and monitoring business health
- Working with the auditors on documentation required to Support the FP&A/Operational side of the Financial Audit
- Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations
- Responsible for financial modelling, including capital modelling, scenario modelling and other ad-hoc modelling requirements across the Group
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key business partners/stakeholders (seek and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and drive value creation)
- Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions. Build business case acumen across the company.
- Recruitment, management and development of a Treasury Accountant
- Develop strategic insights and analysis that support Business Plan and/or strategic projects across the business as required
- Work closely with the Finance team on areas needed for support including Month End

**Your Background**
- Significant budgeting, forecasting experience ideally in a group function
- Worked within large, complex businesses (ideally within capital intense industries, such as Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Mining or Property)
- Exposure to Treasury, coupled with strong modeling skills would also be advantageous
- Recognised qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commercial coupled with CA / CPA (or equivalent)
