**Your Role in a Nutshell**

Are you ready to take the lead in designing and implementing a cutting-edge Configuration Management strategy? Origin Energy is looking for a Configuration Manager to play a pivotal role in the evolution of our Service Management Platform. If you're a seasoned professional with a passion for ensuring data accuracy and compliance, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

**What You'll Do**

As a Configuration Manager at Origin, you'll be at the forefront of developing and governing our Configuration Management function, shaping the future of Origin's Service Management Platform. Your key responsibilities include:

- **Strategic Leadership**:Lead cross-functional teams to understand and capture both business and technical requirements for changes to our Service Management configuration.
- **Technical Design**:Drive the technical design of Service Configuration to ensure it meets Origin's evolving needs, delivers maximum value, and is easily implemented and maintained.
- **Data Compliance**:Oversee the collection of configuration compliance data and related insights to enhance our monthly Technology Business Management reporting.
- **Roadmap Development**:Lead the creation and execution of the Origin Configuration Management roadmap.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Collaborate with IT stakeholders to consult on configuration requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications for the CMDB.

**About you**

To thrive in this role, you'll bring demonstrated working experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB). As well as hands-on experience with ServiceNow. You will also be able to demonstrate;
- Proficiency in documenting business workflows and processes.
- Strong track record in data governance, ensuring data accuracy, cleanliness, and currency.
- Effective collaboration with senior process owners to capture and translate requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Proven experience in testing and validating new processes.
- Ability to manage system integrations and resolve related issues.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

- Familiarity with ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) or Service Management, particularly in Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM).
- Experience in Cost Transparency and Cost Modeling.
- Proficiency in Software Asset Management.
