**Aboriginal Engagement Trainee - Potential Permanent Opportunity**

**About the role**

Due to our current trainee being internally promoted, we are looking for a new Aboriginal Engagement Trainee to join UGL’s head office in North Sydney. You’ll support the National Engagement Manager, Ron Jones, to implement the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and report on outcomes.

**The opportunity**

In this role you will research opportunities to partner with new Aboriginal businesses, and review and update our Aboriginal engagement documents in SharePoint.

You will also collate data from UGL project sites across Australia, and you will have the opportunity to travel and connect with community.\

This is an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to develop their skills and knowledge in Aboriginal procurement and employment, with the potential to progress to an Aboriginal Engagement Advisor

**Your responsibilities will include**
- Support the National Aboriginal Engagement Manager
- Collate data for bids and tenders
- Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint to review, update and maintain Aboriginal Engagement documents

**About you**
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong connection with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities
- Must have proven experience using a computer
- Must demonstrate a keenness and ability to learn new skills
