- **Salary**
- Classification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $105,751 to $171,579 p.a (includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits)
- **Full time - Term Contract (Initial 12-month contract within WCHN - total 3-year SA Health wide employment)**
- As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-month Advanced Trainee Rheumatology allocation will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Paediatric Medicine** team as an** Advance Trainee /Registrar,**where you will be responsible for:

- Providing high-standard paediatric clinical services across South Australia.
- Participating in the delivery of inpatient and outpatient paediatric care under appropriate supervision.
- Demonstrating a commitment to clinical teaching and supporting the education of junior medical staff and students.
- Contributing to departmental research activities and associated clinical projects.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participating in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development.
- Adhering to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent,
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Satisfactorily completed RACP Basic Training requirements and progressed to Advanced Trainee.
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other staff
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and/or high workloads
- Problem solving and decision making skills (both clinical and individual)
