The Waste Water Treatment & Environmental Supervisor will be based at our Dinmore Plant. As a part of this role, the opportunity to travel interstate to our other processing plants for specific project assistance or skills sharing may become available. Reporting to the Plant Manager you are responsible for providing leadership and mentoring your two direct reports.

**Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to)**:

- Supervision of the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and associated equipment as required.
- Supervision of Waste Water Treatment Plant and Grounds Maintenance staff, maintaining staff coverage across a split shift roster.
- Provide environmental leadership and support to maintain compliance with the sites regulatory requirements and to promote continual environmental improvement.
- Conducting or coordinating environmental sampling (wastewater, solid waste streams, soil, crop foliage, air quality monitoring etc)
- Responsible for the management and review of all wastewater monitoring data and other environmental monitoring data
- Coordinate and compile internal, external and regulatory environmental reporting
- Provide environmental awareness training, toolbox talks and to play a key role in the Environmental Steering Committee meetings
- Management, monitoring and optimisation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, including:

- Primary screening area
- DAF
- Decanters
- B-grade tallow production
- Anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatment processes
- Screw Press
- Tertiary DAF.
- Lead environmental incident investigations
- Irrigation and crop management to ensure sustainability of treated effluent irrigation
- Management of the on-site Gardener and contracted lawn mowing service
- Management of the Solid Waste Storage Area and the Solid Waste removal contractor.
- Being on-call and monitoring the waste water treatment plant via company issued laptop.
- Communicate to the Plant Manager any issues that occur at the WWTP, solid waste stream, soil or air quality issues on a daily basis.
