**Our Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team. Located in Narellan and reporting to the General Manager, some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to:

- Ensuring all operational employees in Production are competent and motivated to perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
- Inspire people as you review and improve process efficiency throughout the Company with a focus on maintaining consistent Quality systems and superior performance practices.
- Identify and recommend improvements to current Production operations and processes to improve production efficiency, quality, and output.
- Direct the efficient planning and assignment of work to maximise the use of personnel, plant and equipment to ensure customer orders are built to specification and delivered on time and within cost.
- Strong relationships with Project Managers, Supervisors and production teams to ensure/support quality, operations requirements.
- Manage production priorities, ensuring project delivery date targets are achieved.
- Undertake employee and subcontractor (inc.labour hire) supervision of work conducted in your facility of control.
- Ensure required scheduled machine maintenance program is followed.
- Correct all unsafe behaviors and undertake required employee performance management.
- Coordinate with weld and painting/coating inspector /other inspectors for evaluations and reviews of workmanship as required.
- Use knowledge effectively with accompanied skills, personal and social and or methodological abilities in a wide variety of work situations including task completion and problem solving.

**The Person**

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Trade qualification
- Tertiary qualifications highly desirable
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making skills.
