**Our Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Engineering & Innovation business. Located in Narellan and reporting to the General Manager, some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to:

- Ensure all Production employees are competent and motivated to perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and recommend improvements to current Production processes to drive efficiency, quality, and output.
- Develop and manage production schedules to provide workload visibility.
- Forecast and manage production resource and shift requirements.
- Direct the efficient planning and allocation of work to maximise the use of resources, plant and equipment.
- Manage production priorities to ensure project delivery dates and DIFOT targets are achieved.
- Adhere to and promote QMS requirements to ensure customer orders are manufactured to specification at the highest standards.
- Foster strong relationships with Project Managers, Workshop Supervisors and Production team to achieve seamless project execution.
- Address production challenges, technical issues, and unforeseen obstacles that may arise prior to and during the manufacturing process.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Report on production progress, resource utilization, and plant and equipment issues.
- Ensure plant and equipment maintenance programs are followed.
- Correct all unsafe behaviours and undertake employee performance management where required.

**The Person to be considered for this role you will have**:

- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Trade qualification
- Tertiary qualification highly desirable
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Strong Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and PRONTO
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making skills.
