**Job Description**:
Collections Officer
- Permanent Full-time position, 7 additional days off per year
- Based at Macquarie Park, short walk from Metro Station + WFH options

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Collection Officer to join our Home & Community Services Revenue & Billing Team, based at our Corporate Head Office in Macquarie Park.

Primarily, you will be responsible for debt collection and payment reconciliation, ensuring compliance with all organization policy, legislation, regulatory standards and requirements are met in addition to processing credit card payments. As part on the Revenue & Billing team, you will also have the opportunity to learn and be involved in Revenue & Billing.

Your well developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, together with your flexible ‘hands on’ approach, will aid your success in this integral position.

Your days will include;
- Prepare & action Monthly Debtor's Aging Report in a timely and accurate manner
- Management of a ledger of approx. 1000 + clients.
- Maintain Debt collection & escalation process including negotiating payment terms
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Liaising directly & working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders regarding general issues, clients dispute, & escalated matters
- Maintain a status register of collection statuses for old debts
- Liaise with the business and document collection, activities, manage accounts with the debt collector & propose write offs
- Processing phone credit card payments via bank portal

To be successful for the role, you will have excellent customer service skills, clear, professional and articulate communication skills, in addition to the following;
- Min 4 years proven experience in a similar revenue collections position
- Experience within Aged Care Community Services (highly desirable)
- Ability to establish & maintain effective relations with key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using relevant software systems & online portals
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Procura & CRM - advantage
- Ability to provide evidence of Covid19 Immunisation x3
