**About the role**

Working for Mining Wear Parts based in our Henderson offices, the primary purpose of this position is to manage sales activities to ensure the greatest return to achieve the sale budget. The role reports into the National Sales Manager and has a high level of interaction with external and internal clients, external and internal suppliers, and senior management throughout the wider MRL business.
- Manage all sales and purchasing personnel across the West Coast
- Set budgets for the business and departments
- Set pricing and agree to pricing as necessary to achieve the best possible sales result.
- Providing a detailed monthly report covering sales activities and costs
- Plan and approve all sales trips and travelling for stuff in your specific area
- Foster and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Strong sales background related to mining, or past experience in mining operations or mining supply services companies at a leadership level, combined with significant commercial experience
- 5 years proven experience working in a sales development position
- Formal training in sales and/or business management
- Clear understanding of the sales process from initial meeting to fulfilling clients’ requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
