**About Us**

Lefkas Taverna is a vibrant, well-loved Greek restaurant with over 30 years of history. Renowned for our **incredible food, warm service, and lively atmosphere**, we’re seeking a polished and personable **Venue Hostess** to be the face of our guest experience.

**The Role**

As our **Hostess**, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for our guests. Your presence sets the tone for their entire evening. You’ll manage bookings, welcome patrons with warmth, and ensure service flows smoothly from the door to the dining room.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- Provide accurate wait times & manage the flow of seating
- Use and manage our **reservation app** for current and future bookings
- Monitor guest flow and assist in coordinating the floor with FOH
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest enquiries professionally and promptly
- Support general front-of-house duties as needed

**Who We’re Looking For**

Friendly, personable, and well-spoken
Calm under pressure and compassionate in nature
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
A **true team player** who uplifts those around them
Well-presented and professional (no visible tattoos or piercings)
Fluent in **clear, polite English**, both in person and over the phone
Prior **front-of-house experience** in hospitality required

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Christmas bonus
