**About the Agency**
The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead agency for the Government's policy on sport and active recreation. ORSR is responsible for State Government policy and legislation as it relates to the sector, its key programs, sport and recreation infrastructure and funding programs. The ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, Councils and the community through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physical activity.

**About the Division - Infrastructure and Planning**
The Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategic and integrated approach towards the development and delivery of recreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity, strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and the community. The division is responsible for a number of the State's key sporting assets, including major sporting venues such as the South Australian Sports Institute, SA Netball Stadium, Adelaide Super-Drome and SA Athletics Stadium. It undertakes development planning, construction, project management, facilities management, and recreation trails development and management.

**Role Details**
The Venue Operations Officer is responsible for the effective operation of a range of sport and recreation venues and associated administration facilities including the South Australian Sports Institute, SA Athletics Stadium, Adelaide SuperDrome and SA Netball Stadium. The position is required to ensure the success of sporting events and functions hosted by the venues by establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with tenants, service providers, contractors, operational staff, event stakeholders and members of the associated sporting communities, including state sporting organisations, international teams and clubs.

**Special Conditions**
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.

AS03 - Administrative Services Officer

**Salary Range**
$67,589 - $72,033 p.a.
