As part of the role you’ll secure briefs from account managers and the wider Nielsen team, working with them to optimise outcomes for all stakeholders.

You’ll also be a strategic thinker with a history of lead creation and conversion, and be a creative thinker with a growth mindset whose ideas generate revenue and inspire others to do the same.

In addition, you’ll be a passionate and articulate presenter, with a strong focus on building and supporting client relationships.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Portfolio is Nielsen’s flagship creative monitoring product. It provides the advertising market with an independent view of the creative advertising messages in the market. The Sales & Product Lead is responsible for the development and delivery of the commercial plans for this product. They represent and communicate these products to customers and the advertising industry in Australia.

The Sales & Product Lead is involved in creating understanding and demand for this product. They will drive the sales process for Portfolio leads by presenting to and consulting with potential customers before proposing and closing agreements with customers, partnering with the respective commercial sales team member.

Portfolio is a product that makes advertising better for our customers by providing detailed insights into the creative and messaging strategies of their competitors. The Sales & Product Lead ensures that the market understands the value and benefits of this product and advises on how it is developed to continue to improve the effectiveness.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- ** Product communication strategies**:

- Raise profile and perception of product in market, including preparing and presenting to agencies and advertisers
- Contribute to lead generation activities for Portfolio

Deliver commercial goals for Portfolio**:

- Secure briefs from customers for Portfolio
- Convert leads generated by the Account Management and New Business Teams
- Track and project revenue delivery
- Generate initiatives to grow product revenue
- **
Customer relationships**:

- Direct customer success team to maximise value to customers from Portfolio
- Understand, identity and communicate customers needs relevant to Portfolio

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:

- 3+ years experience within the advertising industry (e.g. data and intelligence companies, agencies, or advertiser marketing)
- Proven track record of securing revenue from new or existing customers
- Understanding of advertising and creative measurement
- Knowledge of different roles within creative agencies, and advertisers involved in the selection of advertising measurement solutions
- Presentation and persuasion skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Can do, problem solver
- High drive and focus on delivery
