- Are you passionate about providing top-notch support and instruction in the mining industry? Do you thrive in dynamic environments? If so, Orica has an exciting opportunity for you- As a **Field Support Technician**, you will be the frontline hero, ensuring our customers get the best out of Axis Mining Technologies' suite of equipment and services. The purpose of this position is to provide in-field support to customers involving instruction in the use of, trouble shooting and general advice related to our products and services.- The position is based in the vibrant hub of Welshpool, Western Australia, working Monday - Friday and offers the exciting opportunity for a significant amount of travel nationally.**What you will be doing**
- **In-Field Instruction**: Guide customers and agents on the use of Axis products, primarily on mine-sites and in remote locations.
- **Troubleshooting**: Provide expert support to resolve any issues with the Axis suite of products.
- **Calibration**: Check and calibrate survey tools to ensure precision and reliability.
- **Logistics**:Manage the delivery and receipt of rental equipment.
- **Additional Tasks**: Perform other duties as directed by management.

**What you will bring**
- **Field Experience**:A background in fieldwork and drill rigs is preferred.
- **Technical Aptitude**: Ability to learn and understand drill-hole survey equipment, systems, and processes.
- **Drilling Knowledge**: Basic understanding of drilling principles and practices.
- **Independence**: Capable of working independently and engaging effectively with field crews.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous and thorough in your work.
- **Team Player**: Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other stakeholders to further develop the organization.
