3-6 month contract with potential for permanency
- Based on site in Southern Sydney (parking and flexible work on offer)
- Mix of transactional accounts and project work involved

Leading ASX listed services business provides end-to-end life-cycle services to utility, telecommunications and transport asset owners, operators and regulators across Australia.

As Finance Administrator you will be responsible for various finance and administration tasks. You will process invoices and other accounts, process weekly payroll for workers, check variances between invoiced amounts and payments received and verify discounts or rebates taken.

In addition you will prepare journal entries and effect trial balances as required. You will collate data for end of month purposes and produce cost reporting and other ad-hoc finance tasks.

Finally you assist with the preparation of Head Contract and Subcontract claims/variations, as well as forecasting accruals.

To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified or have a relevant certificate in accounting/bookkeeping. You will have previous experience in accounts/finance clerk roles with a strong knowledge of computer based accounting systems. Previous transactional accounts experience in a project based environment will be highly regarded.
