**The Role**:
Nextt has immediate opportunities to support our clients in one of our Supported Independent Living facilities in Mount Colah. We are looking for part-time disability support workers for a wide variety of services like community access, activities of daily living and supported independent living.
**Tasks include**:

- Ensure all duties and tasks are completed in accordance with the plan.
- Understand the individual goals of each participant, make sure all time spent with the participant is meaningful and productive in relation to the achievement of goals.
- Able to make calculated micro decisions and able to follow direction.
- Provide and/or support with personal care to participants.
- Provide medication assistance if needed.
- Prepare and/or support with meal preparation.
- Perform and oversee the provision of domestic services.
- Ensure all incidents and hazards are reported in timely manner.
- Provide feedback on progress and pass on any concern to the House Leader.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A minimum of Cert III in Mental Health/Disability/Community Services/Individual Support/Nursing or above with minimum of 1 year of industry experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and valid Australian Driver license with reliable transport.
- Passion and commitment to provide services for those with a range of physical disability.
- Punctual, proactive, meticulous and keep clients’ routine in mind.
