**The Role**:
We are seeking caring, people centred, values driven Disability Support Workers to help our clients get more out of life through quality support. This means understanding service choices, decisions and what is important to our clients and supporting them to reach their goals. Group homes located in Mt Colah, Hornsby and Thornleigh. Supporting clients to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community including attending community events, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions to name a few.
**About you**:
You may be an experienced Disability Support Worker looking for a change, wanting to pick up additional shifts or just looking to work a really flexible schedule
You may also be a parent looking to work flexible school hours or perhaps returning to the workforce after a career break
You may be a student looking for work experience in the Disability sector
We will give you all the training and support you need
**What we'd like to see**:

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Knowledge in working with non-verbal clients,
- Experience in Manual Handling, Hoist Transfer, Catheter Care, Bowel care and mobility assistance
- Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and valid Australian Driver license with reliable transport
