In support of the growing needs of our diverse local community, Monash Children’s Hospital (MCH) cares for more than 100,000 children per year, providing care across the continuum of paediatric services from birth to 18 years of age.? It is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Australia and one of only two tertiary paediatric hospitals in Victoria.

MCH is co-located next to Monash Medical Centre in Clayton and is a purpose-built paediatric facility. Some of the speciality units include:

- Neurodevelopment Unit
- Paediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Same Day Unit(Surgery)
- Children's Cancer Centre

**About our Paediatric nursing roles**

As a Paediatric RN, you will have demonstrated skills in providing evidence based and excellent family centred care. You must also demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop the skills required within the paediatric setting. With your caring, passionate and engaging manner, you will play a key role in leading by example within a patient centric and family friendly environment. Using your excellent communication skills, you will work within a multidisciplinary team with the sole purpose of delivering exceptional paediatric care at all times. All our Paediatric Nursing roles work across 24/7 rotational shifts.

**What You Bring**:
While previous Paediatrics experience is highly regarded, if you have nursing experience and a true desire to move into Paediatrics, we encourage you to apply
- A willingness to continue to learn to ensure you always deliver a high standard of evidence based nursing care
- Sound clinical judgement in critical situations
- A commitment to delivering patient centred care and advocacy
- Dedication to providing safe best practice & quality care

**What you need**:

- Registered Nurse clinical skills
- Paediatric nursing experience is desirable, but without this a passion to move into Paediatric Nursing is a must
- Australian Working rights
- A current AHPRA registration
