**Company**: Our client is a top tier Civil Engineering contractor who operate successfully across the nations in various work silos. They are looking for a HSEQ Advisor to support one of their live and active infrastructure projects in SEQld.

**Responsibilities**: As the HSEQ Advisor your responsibilities may include but not be limited to
- Promoting a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace.
- Ensuring H&S Across not only the direct work force of approx. 30, but also the various sub-contractors that are active on site.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, and regulatory and legislative requirements for Health and Safety.
- Ensure that HSEQ induction and training is provided to all relevant employees
- Manage Subcontractor compliance
- Undertake audits to verify compliance.
- Investigate any injuries, incidents and near misses and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- 5+ years experience in a civil engineering &/or construction environment within the Health & Safety, Environment or Quality areas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally as well as externally.
- Excellent skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning, communication and organising along with the ability to positively influence improved Health and Safety Outcomes.
- Degree, Diploma or similar and a current member of a relevant professional institution.
