Support the nursing staff within the Operating Suite in assisting with sterile set-ups, restocking, and following direction as required._

This role has various Permanent and Temporary Full Time and Part Time positions available with varying hours and end dates.
The successful applicant will be available to work a seven day rotating roster inclusive of morning, afternoon and evening shift work.

As a Sterilisation Technician within the Centre Core of the Perioperative Team, you will be responsible for the meticulous handling, storage, and management of sterile stock. Your work will adhere to the standards set by ISLHD, the Sterilisation Services Department, AS/NZ 4187, ACORN, and NSW Ministry of Health Infection Control Policies. In this role, you will collaborate with your team to uphold a high standard of care, demonstrating accountability and responsibility in your daily tasks. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly contribute to patient outcomes in our healthcare facilities.
