**Job Summary**:
Operations Coordinator is responsible for setting up a tour to be accessible for sales, reporting services to external vendors and regular inventory management. This position ensures pricing accuracy and finalization of items needed for the tours to be available for sale through the internal guest reservation system. By assigning any restrictions on room configuration, the Operations Coordinator works with business areas to increase inventory in order to clear waitlisted guests or to request upgrades or special group services from external vendors. For changes that occur to tour departure dates, this position is responsible for adjusting inventory in the operational systems and proofing work. The Operations Coordinator reports to external vendors in terms of preliminary and final rooming lists, answering any questions needed, as well as communicating tour service and entire tour departure date cancellations in a timely manner. Key functions of the Operations Coordinator role align to company goals and contribute to KPI’s.
**Primary Functions**:
- Proof tour elements in the operational systems for new season releases and in all currencies; ensure pre and post tour accommodations, choices on tour, upgraded requests and optional excursions are available for guest reservations.
- Assigns allotment details to inventory and tracks total number available
- Proofs reporting from the operational systems to external vendors for preliminary and final rooming lists as well as canceled services and tours.
- Proofs reporting and collaborates with external vendors to confirm and clear waitlisted guests.
- Updates inventory as needed due to tour changes
- Contacts external vendors on special group requests and updates the operational systems as needed
- Provides assistance and back up coverage for another world territory and in creating the tour manager folders.

- 1-3 Years of Experience
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in a fast paced environment; must be able to multi-task efficiently and accurately.
- Possess a proactive, positive, and professional approach and demeanor to their work with the ability to work well under pressure; Collaborates well with others and fosters a cooperative work environment.
- Must be flexible to an ever-changing travel industry and educated in current events worldwide.
- Possesses a fiscal understanding of impact to financial position.
- Ability to effectively create and communicate through all means of communication to all stakeholders.
Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
