Project Coordinator | ICT Projects | Infrastructure Program | PMO Officer | Geelong | 3 month contract

Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with a leading organisation located in **Geelong CBD, Victoria**.
We are seeking to appoint **Project Coordinator** primarily responsible to work with Infrastructure Program Delivery team to assist with various Transformation Projects. You will be supporting the implementation of processes and activities including financial management, project reporting, project scheduling, asset management, procurement, dependency management and risk/issue management.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will be a reporting to Program Manager - Infrastructure and will be accountable to:

- Assisting with information gathering and project planning activities to ensure the infrastructure projects are set up to be managed according to the approved methodology and framework.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and project resources, acting as a key contact point within the project.
- Assisting in project management tasks including maintenance of the schedule, monitoring project deliverables, financial management including accruals and reporting.
- Assisting in managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Developing reports and other deliverables as assigned by the Program Manager, Program Director and Project Manager.
- Establish and maintain project documentation management.
- Assist in the quality reviews of projects or programs

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Related project management or tertiary qualifications.
- Strong experience in project administration/project coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating Information Technology environment projects.
- Excellent administrative skills coupled with a demonstrated understanding of project documentation and governance processes.
- Experience in project budget control and financial tracking till the delivery.
- Strong experience in planning, organising and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience working on a data project would be desirable, but not essential.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Project Management certification such as Prince 2 or PMBOK is highly desirable.

**Please note: For this role, you MUST be an Australian Citizen OR a Permanent Resident OR Valid Working Rights in Australia.**
