About The Facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About The Role
The Improvement Project Coordinator position is responsible for managing and coordinating the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) funded Hospital Acquired Complication (HAC): Pressure Injury Prevention Project at Barwon Health. A thematic analysis of pressure injuries was completed by Barwon Health in 2024 and 23 recommendations were made. The role's aim is to facilitate the implementation of these recommendations by developing a project plan, engaging and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and facilitating the required quality improvement activities to reduce the rate of pressure injuries in the required timeframe.
