**About the role**
Based on recent project awards for resource sector work in the Pilbara, we are actively seeking an **Asphalt and Logistics Lead** to o lead a multidisciplinary team in the safe and successful delivery of a key section of the Tonkin Extension Alliance. This role suits a hands-on leader with extensive experience and understanding of Asphalt and Logistics who thrives in technically complex environments and brings strong collaboration, safety focus, and delivery experience to the table
**What to expect in this role**:
- Leading the delivery of bituminous surfacing works, including spray seal, full depth asphalt (EME2) and wearing courses
- Administration of a sub-alliance contract model for the bituminous surfacing works
- Oversite of materials management for general fill and pavement materials
- Delivery of works in accordance with project budget, program and quality requirements
- Reporting of production quantities and financial results
- Managing interface of bituminous surfacing works with multiple project disciplines

- Act at all times in the spirit of the Alliance working partners and follow the Vision, Purpose, Values of the project
- Lead and actively drive the Key Result Areas (KRA’s) and the associated Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) established for the Alliance, ensuring they are met and aligned with the overall project goals.
- Be accountable for the performance, management and development of the Alliance staff under your control.
- Support your manager and team to effectively operate within the Alliance, promoting collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility.
- Ensure HSEQ awareness is maintained at all times
- Ability to resolve both commercial and technical issues in a timely manner
**What You’ll Need**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Design Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years’ experience managing design interfaces on large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and facilitate alignment between design and construction.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in budget, timeline, and change control management
