Content Designer with UX focus

3 month contract with view to extend

Melbourne based hybrid role

Working with one of Australia’s largest enterprise organisations, you will have the chance to work closely with research and design teams to deliver excellent content that supports our client’s digital product experiences.

In conjunction with engineering, product and program teams, the Content Designer is integral to the delivery of useful and effective content that ensures seamless digital experiences and high quality content across our client’s digital products.

The Content Designer reports to the Senior Content Designer and works with a team of content designers responsible for developing the execution of task-based microcopy across digital products to ensure the content is consistent, relevant and effective.

You will contribute to product and service content strategy, to create compelling, user-friendly and informative experiences for our client’s customers.

The Content Designer will:

- Plan, create, deliver and manage content artifacts and deliverables that inform and enhance design for various assets within a program
- Produce best practice UX Writing and product content strategy (micro-copy, interface copy and digital product copy)
- Develop content within the multi-disciplinary design team to deliver accessible, usable and enjoyable customer-focused digital apps and experiences
- Ensure online content complies with corporate brand standards, web style guide, legal and compliance

Skills and experience required:

- At least 3+ years’ experience in related role creating digital content with a demonstrable portfolio of work
- Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience creating and executing content strategy activities in the digital product space
- A self-starter who will bring original ideas and fresh approaches
- Strong understanding of Product UX content principles, product content strategy and content design and development for digital products
- A strong grasp of how to use user research, user testing, metrics and data to continuously improve content
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
- Good knowledge of accessibility
