**Public Sector People (PSP) **are currently looking to speak to a
**Integration Specialist **who would be interested in a temp to perm opportunity within Local Government.
- _As soon as possible start date _
- _Temp to permanent opportunity (longevity ideal)_
- _South East Melbourne Location _
- _Hybrid work arrangement with 3-days in the office _
- _Contract rate is up to $60 per hour and full-time salary is up to $116,000_

You will be part of a wider IT Operations team and bring with you an enthusiastic attitude, ready to learn and take a lead on the position.

This role is urgent therefore the Council have made the executive decision to begin the role as contract with the view to transition you to permanent employment as soon as possible.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- System integration - Integrate software components, subsystems, and services into the technical systems environment whilst assessing the impact.
- Assist team members with troubleshooting technical issues related to integration and provide gap analysis, create documentation, perform unit testing and mentor others regarding integration processes.
- Provide expert advice to the business on system integration approached whilst working collaboratively with other members of Business Information and Technology Solutions team to ensure business outcomes are delivered.
- Assist with the BAU function as well as partaking and leading Integration projects.

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:

- Strong work experience with API Management.
- Experience implementing and supporting a wide range of integration solutions and projects.
- Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement experience.
