**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a permanent
**full time Oncology Pharmacy Technician **to join

our supportive and collaborative team located onsite the at
**Icon Cancer Centre, North Lakes**, you will provide pharmacy services to patients at the Cancer Centre, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the patients’ medication needs.

You will be based at our Integrated Cancer Centre in North Lakes, where we provide exceptional services in Haematology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology. This is an amazing opportunity to further develop your dispensing career and gain experience in oncology through the support and training of our collaborative team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Assist in the preparation and compounding of aseptic cytotoxic products and non-hazardous patient prescriptions, including the sterile cleaning process and environmental monitoring
- Coordinate the safe, accurate and timely supply of all medications and aseptic products
- Imprest and pharmacy inventory management
- Keep accurate records of continuing and existing treatments and organise confirmation of future orders
- Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
- Engage with patients and assisting them on treatment journey

**About you**:
We are seeking a passionate team player who has high attention to detail and the ability to independently solve problems. With previous dispensing experience, you will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the PBS and have the ability to address patients’ needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism. Previous experience using FRED dispense is desirable but not essential.
