We are currently seeking dedicated support workers, who wish to make a difference in the everyday lives of NDIS participants as we experience growth across Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan.
**The Position**
Providing support for our client by accompanying them for community access. Our client prefers a **FEMALE** Support Worker with mental health experience.
Support required is MONDAY 3PM-7:30PM, TUESDAY 8:30AM-12:30PM, THURSDAY 5PM-8PM, SATURDAY 10AM-1PM & 3PM-6PM, SUNDAY 5PM-8PM
You will be working independently and the position job type is casual.
**General Duties**
As directed by the Client Service Manager, and in-line with the client’s NDIS goals, duties may include:
- Community access - assist with attending personal activities and shopping and appointments.
- Support in home, assisting with light cleaning.
**About You**
Friendly and patient with people living with disability.
Professional attitude with willingness to learn and to be committed to continuous personal development.
**Skills and Competencies**
Competent writing, comprehension, and verbal skills.
Experience in working with people with ASD is essential
Ability to follow instructions and work within the limitations of the position.
Ability to work independently.
**Requirements**:
Either have or willing to obtain a Certificate III in Disabilities,
First Aid and CPR
Current Queensland driver's license
Reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
