We are seeking Casual Support Workers to support children and adult NDIS participants in SILs, Life Skills Training and Day programs in the Hills District and surrounds. We have casual positions with consistent hours & routine rosters, however; to supplement consistent shifts staff ideally should be available to pick up backfill shifts.

It is our mission to be a 'Centre of Excellence' in the responsive and innovative creation of individual life opportunities while embedding people in their community.

**Your day may include**:

- Developing meaningful and professional relationships with each participant, understanding their unique needs, goals, and daily living activities.
- Assisting with daily living activities such as mealtime management, administering medication, dressing, toileting, showering, household duties, and or other tasks as required.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to particpants, advocating for their needs and preferences.
- Using positive reinforcement and behaviour management techniques to support participants with their routines and to achieve their goals.
- Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP).
- Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
- Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
- Use a company vehicle and/or your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

**What we are looking for**:

- Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)
- Australian LR Driver's License
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment
- National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
