**How will I help?**

As a Manager in the 2nd line Assurance team, you will use your passion for Risk combined with Inquisitive, Adaptive, Positive and Decisive decision-making skills to deliver thematic and deep dive Assurance reviews, including the assessment of key controls for design and operating effectiveness. With a strong focus on delivery, you will use your skills in influencing, data analysis, reporting and relationship building to work with stakeholders across all Westpac Divisions, which includes Business Partners, 1 st Line Risk Teams, Group Audit, and other 2 nd Line Risk Teams. With the ability to build trusted and meaningful relationships one of your superpowers, you will collaborate with peers to collectively promote a high-performance culture and behaviours relating to risk and continuous improvement over Assurance methodology. You will develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to influence enterprise leaders to embed risk monitoring and implement effective controls with an outcomes and customer focus at all times.

**What do I need?**

You’ll have over 5 years of experience in risk management/audit/assurance within the banking or financial services sector. Alongside your skills in influencing, data analysis, reporting and relationship building, you should be proactive, organised, outcomes-driven and possess a strong customer focus. Experience with technology audit/assurance, and proficiency with data analytics will be an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate are essential - the presentation of your resume will be an important selection criteria
