We are seeking a motivated, proactive individual with collection experience to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Credit Manager your role will involve liaising with clients (front office and offshore) on a daily basis, to ensure efficient and effective collection and recovery of money owed to the organisation.

In this role, you will be required to:

- Collect debtors for a portfolio of brands and clients
- Escalate disputes to the relevant team
- Liaise with clients and sales to resolve disputes.
- Escalate overdue debtors to relevant stakeholders when required.
- Manage the Days Sales Outstanding figure.
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with month-end.
- Prepare debtor reporting including monthly Aged Debtor Reports.
- Highlight problem customers to senior management.
- Assess company risk.
- Refer debts to third-party collection agencies when necessary.

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Minimum five years of collection experience.
- An understanding of end-to-end Debt Collection.
- A deep understanding of the D365 system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong and demonstrated collection experience.
- Experience managing a high volume of telephone calls.
- Ability to communicate with evidence of effective issue management and query resolution.
- Ability to influence outcomes without any direct line authority.
- An ability to proactively identify and solve problems/ issues.
- A drive for continuous improvement of processes and operational excellence.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A tenacity and ability to have difficult conversations.
- Experience Using ERP (Pronto/SAP/AX) (is desirable).
- Full working rights in Australia
