Our client is seeking a polished senior sourcing professional to contribute to M&A sourcing activities.

**Your new company**

Our client are one of the big four banks who are going through a considerable period of organisational change.

They're seeking senior strategic sourcing capability to work on a high profile project team and sit within a mature and highly capable procurement function.

**Your new role**

Working as part of an established program team - you'll be tasked with leading sourcing projects focused on delivering increased benefits through economies of scale and contract harmonisation across several recently combined entities.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:

- Leading and/or acting as a key contributor on sensitive and high value sourcing and contract negotiation events
- Engaging with stakeholders throughout the business to align sourcing and contracting activities with the overall goals of the project
- Working with legal stakeholders to contribute to the initial drafting of contracts - to ensure value driven through effective procurement is carried through contract establishment
- Confidently leading sourcing activities across a broad variety of indirect and technology categories
- Operating within the bounds of appropriate procurement governance requirements and guidelines

**What you'll need to succeed**

Prior experience operating within a financial services environment would be an advantage however is non-essential. Prior ICT category experience would also be favourable, however being able to confidently handle sourcing activity across a diverse range of categories is paramount.
