**Key responsibilities**:
In this role you will provide primary health care services to the people residing in the Immigration Detention Centre.

The key responsibilities are to:

- To assess, diagnose and treat clients in immigration detention at the General Practice level
- Provide advice and education to nurses and allied health professionals as necessary or as requested.
- Liaise with all parties involved in the medical management of clients in Immigration Detention.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records and compliance with professional standards.

**About you**:

- Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a general Medical Practitioner
- Primary Care experience essential with experience in rural/remote setting and/or emergency care highly desirable, alternatively we will consider a medical officer with an interest in remote work
- Strong leadership, business acumen and communication skills.
- Live in Australia or New Zealand and have work rights in Australia
- Current Advanced Life Support Certificate (or willing to obtain)
