**THE ROLE**

A Project Officer role is now available within the Performance Improvement team of Homes Victoria to drive simplification, process improvement and issue resolution to support efficient delivery of its Big Housing Build and other commitments.

Given the importance of the strategic programs being delivered, strong governance over issue resolution and continuous improvement plays a critical role in supporting Homes Victoria programs and enabling transparent reporting to the department, the Victorian government, and other stakeholders.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**

1. Contribute to the full life cycle of process improvement to meet departmental objectives including:
(a) Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of process improvements based on defined outcomes and outputs.

(b) Supporting the development and delivery of process improvements and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.

(c) Contributing to the tracking and reporting of process improvements to ensure departmental objectives are met

2.. Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.

3. Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
