A supportive and diverse Government department are seeking a Finance Officer to join their supportive and busy team based centrally on the Gold Coast.
**Your new role**
Your role as the Finance Officer, is to undertake processing work to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely processing of compensation payments to clients Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Manage payments processing, including confirming data completeness and accuracy prior to processing, or - if necessary - identification of errors requiring rejection of data
- Process routine payments daily based on identified priority
- Assist with the review, resolution and validation of incorrect
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a Finance Officer managing high volume processing. Along with the ability to set priorities, complete allocated tasks and make decisions within the defined parameters relating to the area of responsibility.
