QA Officer

The culture is entrepreneurial and inclusive, where employees can look forward to rewarding careers with the Company. **THE ROLE** Key Duties will include but not limited to: - Documented daily HACCP-CCP & QCP verification with corrective actions. - Documented GMP verification with corrective actions. - Hygiene, housekeeping, foreign body verification with corrective actions - Product Sampling (including routine samples and verification samples) - Samples sending, records and storage - Incoming raw materials verification - Internal and external calibration (scales, check weighers, Oxygen analyser and other lab measurement equipment as necessary, etc.) - Validation and Verification testing and sampling (allergens, water, shelf life, sensory evaluation etc.). - Maintaining records - Participates in regulatory and customer audits **SKILLS & EXPERIENCE** Qualifications: - Qualifications in Food Science or similar - Minimum 2 years work experience in food production environment - Work knowledge in GMP/HACCP standards is favourable **Skills**: - Team building - Problem solving - Decision making - Effective verbal and listening communication - Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Office - Time Management - High attention to details - Dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude If this sounds like you and the opportunity you are looking for, APPLY NOW and include a letter of introduction outlining your relevant skills and experience.
