This high performing team within a central federal government department, who deliver logistics operations to insure security for the nation are seeking a APS6 Financial Business Partner for their division.
**Your new role**

As management accountant you will deliver highly technical and effective Finance business Partner services for the division.
Contribute to the development, coordination, monitoring and internal reporting of the budget, as well as financial analysis to drive improved business outcomes.
Duties will include:
- Support the Director and Assistant Director on financial reporting, budget control, budget development, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Support the development of financial business processes and strategies.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with stakeholders that promote the collaborative exchange of financial and business information.
- Coordinate and draft executive briefings and documents, including but not limited to variance reports and forecasting, external and internal meetings/forums.
**What you'll need to succeed**

As an established APS6 you will have a knowledge of legislation, regulations and Compliance frameworks within the public service. You'll have we developed written and verbal communication. You'll be ideally qualified within finance and working towards CA or CPA qualifications.
