**APS6 Finance Officer**

**Your new company**

This client is working within a large Federal Government Department to support the lives of all Australians.

**Your new role**
- Work within PGPA to support the preparation of Financial Statements and reports.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and service providers whilst maintaining working relationships.
- Monitor the Financial management system to ensure payment of accounts and financial transactions to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage high level work loads through Month end and end of financial year activities.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will need to be someone who can commence at short notice who is eager to support throughout peak periods and end of financial year activities. You will have experience working within a similar capacity and have a relevant qualification being a Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent.

**What you'll get in return**

You will get a short-term initial contract 3 - 6 months with the view to multiple extensions working within a collaboratively team.
