**Do work that matters**

Here you’ll work with the General Manager of Client Acquisition and State portfolio Executive Managers to originate new-to-bank business to Business Banking (BB) across the Commercial and Corporate segments ($30m - $500m turnover), primarily general diversified industries.

The role focuses on maintaining/developing technical proficiency, coaching, mentoring, and leading a sales team to deliver exceptional customer experience. It also involves executing and supporting the origination of profitable debt and transactional banking opportunities for BB in the corporate mid-market.

**Duties may involve**:

- Coaching and supporting the presenting of pitches to potential high value mid-market corporate clients and prospects, either private or listed companies, in conjunction with BB Relationship teams
- Assessing viability of transactions and developing financing solutions
- Project managing the execution of transactions, and the development of transaction opportunities within the BB network
- Developing and promoting the profile of Client Acquisition and CBA more broadly in the VIC market

**What are we looking for?**

It is essential that you have a degree in commerce, business or related field and experience in finance and/or banking. You’re an energetic and resilient professional who has demonstrable capability in achieving outstanding sales results and understands the importance of pipeline excellence. You will also have:

- Experience in running a successful client facing business in a financial institution, with a strong focus on the importance of coaching to achieve exceptional results
- Extensive knowledge of banking and financial services solutions
- Strategic thinking with the ability to stimulate thought leadership for the benefit of the team
- Experience in originating new-to-bank diversified business/deals in the Mid-Market/Corporate Banking
- Strong credit skills
- Coaching and mentoring abilities
