Decision Support Manager

**Reporting into the Head of Innovation, you will be part of a small passionate and energetic innovation team, within the broader marketing division.**

- Providing commercial insight, leadership and oversight, to achieve innovation objectives
- **Full management of the innovation P&L budget and performance **(this includes core brands and new to market innovation) to deliver our ambitious growth agenda
- Accountable for financial analysis, of all future and current new product development, including CAPEX and OPEX recommendations
- **Performance evaluation and measurement of all new projects, generating learnings** for improvement and informing future innovation
- Linking innovation strategy to overall business and portfolio strategy. Assessing viability of projects and set targets and KPI’s, that simultaneously develop multiple projects across categories, to create and sustain an innovation pipeline, that supports an ambitious growth agenda
- Lead cross-functional teams at different stages of development: to scope key multiple opportunities, **co-ordinate financial inputs, required to make informed decisions, and report on commercialization**:

- Participate, input and influence, the portfolio management rationalisation processes, on behalf of innovation, to deliver analysis and recommendations
- Scope and recommend the opportunity of all early-stage projects
- Assist in developing the rolling 3 year strategic plan for innovation and assist in building the annual operating plan for innovation

**About You**

**With at least 8 years’ experience working in commercial finance, within innovative and progressive consumer goods companies, that challenge the status quo.** You will be an expert in business case development and project management and are likely to have honed your commercial curiosity and acumen, by being **exposed to innovation and or marketing, across several different industries**, exposing you to new ideas and challenging your thinking, of what is commercially possible**. **Some of the skills you will need to be successful are:

- Highly skilled in consumer/customer/commercial insights
- Degree Qualified in Finance, Business or Marketing
