About the role
As a Personal Banker, you’ll need to be an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for meeting people.
The Personal Banker role provides a seamless branch experience by meeting customers end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, exploring needs and circumstances and providing consumer lending and other financial solutions relevant to their lifestyle. You will demonstrate a high level of ownership which is based on building strong relationships with new and existing customer and the wider community. You will actively engage our customers to explore the best products and services to suit their needs.
This position is located at Dee Why Branch. The role is FULL TIME. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.
About you
We’re looking for someone keen to learn and progress in their career. A successful Personal Banker will bring:
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales results through solutions which truly meet the customer’s needs.
Ability to effectively communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone.
A high level of Banking Product knowledge, including Transactions Accounts, Insurance, Term Deposits and Credit Cards.
The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
Experience in consumer lending and the banking and finance industry - a plus but certainly not essential
