Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) is an established provider of Community Care Services in NSW. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored care to enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families. Our ultimate goal is to support clients to remain at home and engaged in their local community.

**The Role**

This is a casual position suited to applicants with a genuine desire to assist aged care clients fulfil their needs and goals and remain well living at home. Our lovely team of Community Support Assistants provide in home support which includes personal care, social support, and domestic assistance.

Based in Goulburn area, you must have confidence and ability to work autonomously and travel to client's homes in and around their local community.

About You
- Experience with client support - including some personal care, domestic assistance and social support
- Willing to work a variety of am and pm shifts, through Monday to Friday, 15 - 20 hours per week
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to facilitate & support client engagement & independence
- High level of time management
- Enthusiastic & passionate about providing a caring quality service for the elderly
- Well presented with a positive attitude
- Model team qualities such as respect, helpfulness, cooperation & support
- Sound knowledge of people with dementia
- Ability to provide progress reports

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Cert III minimum qualification in Aged/Disability or Community Care
- Current clear National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (willingness to obtain)
- Opens Drivers Licence & own Car
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Smart Phone

Remuneration

Competitive salary package on offer including option to salary sacrifice, km allowance, comprehensive induction, and ongoing training/career development opportunities. Great hourly rate plus paid time and kilometres between clients.
