Working for this innovative, technology driven organisation as the Production Support Manager will see you responsible for providing people leadership, operational and technical practice leadership, to the Applications Support Teams.
The teams provide operational, technology and transition support for several of the organisation's mission critical systems.
**Key accountabilities**
- Ensure systems are available to all users and 3rd party interfaces
- Ensure batch jobs are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Ensure incidents are logged in the IT Service Desk system and are maintained with accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Contribute to the continuing development of IT Operations processes, procedures, standards and methodologies
- Identification of improvements in System management to increase systems stability and improve end user performance
- Ensure 24x7 on-call coverage is appropriately resourced and rostered
- Manage team budgets and project costs as input to planning
- Establish and regularly review team priorities, performance objectives and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to delivery team members
**Skills and experience**
- Experience setting technical direction and extensive experience with quality assurance processes
- Strong Software testing background with experience in various Testing Methodologies
- Agile ways of working experience
- Strong experience in the building and running Test Automation teams experience
- Extensive experience in the Software Development - Lifecycle and methodologies
- Previous experience working in an outsourced service delivery model and/or vendor management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement
- including the management of direct reports
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with stakeholders at all levels
