**About Us**:
Brisbane Powerhouse is a vibrant arts and cultural hub, hosting an exciting mix of live performances, festivals, and events. Our team includes a mix of casual, part-time, and full-time staff, and we're looking for a Payroll Officer to support our payroll function while our current team member is on maternity leave.

**The Role**:
We are seeking a Payroll Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to manage payroll processing and ensure our staff are paid accurately and on time. This includes managing payroll for casual employees under the Live Performance Award 2020 and ensuring correct pay rates, penalty rates, and allowances. You'll also work closely with our finance team to help allocate wages to different events and cost centres.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process end-to-end payroll using Humanforce (rostering & time management) and Micropay (payroll processing).
- Ensure compliance with the Live Performance Award 2020, including pay rates for casual staff.
- Assist with allocating wages to events and cost centres based on worked shifts.
- Manage timesheets, superannuation, and payroll records.
- Provide support to employees with payroll-related queries.
- Work with finance and HR to ensure payroll processes run smoothly.
- Manage payroll reporting and reconciliations as required.

**About you**:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous experience in payroll processing, ideally with casual employees.
- Experience using Humanforce and Micropay (or similar payroll and rostering systems).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A friendly, professional approach to assisting employees with payroll queries.
- The ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team.
- Experience with the Live Performance Award 2020 will be highly regarded.
