**The Department**

You will be joining our dynamic Media Operations team, a creative team of Editors who provide engaging content for our multi-platform broadcast environment. As a key part of the Technology, Operations and Services unit, the team provides technical and editing resources for SBS programs.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Editing Operations, this role will see you working all editing shifts.

As a key part of the Technology, Operations and Services unit, you will be involved in providing technical and editing resources for News, Current Affairs, Sport, NITV, Documentary and General Entertainment production.

**About you**

You'll be ready for your next big challenge and come equipped with:

- Considerable television editing experience for broadcast
- The flexibility to work in News and Current Affairs in accordance to a rotating roster, which can include weekends and late nights
- Proven understanding of editorial principals in News and cutting to broadcast critical deadlines
- A commitment to work on site at Artarmon television studios Sydney
- Hands-on experience working with a range of editing platforms to an advanced level including Adobe Creative Suite
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of a professional editing environment, in particular knowledge of production facilities and operational procedures
- Experience in multi-cam editing skills
- Proven ability to provide creative and technical expertise in relation to high quality longform editing.
- A personal desire to go above and beyond for your clients, finding efficient and creative ways to deliver on their needs with exceptional service.
- Excellent communication skills in particular the ability to communicate with influence when working with internal and external partners.
