**Position Overview**:
As a Roadworthy/Used Car Reconditioning Technician at **Ringwood Mazda**, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all used vehicles meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and aesthetic appeal. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing necessary repairs and maintenance to ensure the vehicles are roadworthy and in excellent condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of used vehicles to identify any mechanical, electrical, or cosmetic issues.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to brake repairs, engine diagnostics, suspension work, and cosmetic reconditioning.
- Complete roadworthy certification checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Continuously update your knowledge and skills through training and staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Roadworthy/Used Car Reconditioning Technician or a similar role with current RWC Licence.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Solid understanding of roadworthy certification requirements and regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive repairs and maintenance. Air Conditioning Licence highly regarded.

**Salary**: $47,252.67 - $75,000.00 per year
