**About the role**

Maroondah Operating Suite has 4 Theatres caring for patients requiring Speciliaties such as Orthopaedics, Plastics including major Recontructive Surgery, Urology, Breast & Endocrine and General Surgery. The successful applicant will work co-hesively with the Multi-disciplinary Team providing excellent care for our patients. We provide a Monday-Friday service with reduced capacity at the weekends and after hours on-calls.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Minimum of 24 months as a Grade 3 or 36 months as a Grade 4 full time equivalent Theatre Technician
- Certification IV in Operating Theatre Technician Support (HLT47515)
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
