**About the Role**:
This is a Permanent Full Time position as Manager Nutrition and Food Services. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing clinical dietetics services to inpatient medical/specialty units and to specialist outpatient clinics in the context of increasing demand and complexity. You will provide professional leadership and operational resonsibility for all aspects of the hospital's nutrition and food services. You will bring strong perational management and ability to carefully monitor budget across several cost centres and will act as a resource to the RCH in all aspects of nutrition and food services.

You will make a significant contribution to the overall leadership, strategic direction and operational performance of allied health services and programs in line with the RCH vision - A world where all kids thrive.

**What You'll Achieve**:

- Provide leadership, direction and support to achieve RCH’s strategic objectives, SOP deliverables/targets within the division
- Ensure a high-performance culture in accordance with RCH Compact within the area of responsibility, focused on RCH vision and values
- Provide operational managmeent and leadership of food services through RCH main kitchen and central formula room
- Act as a resource to the RCH in all aspects of nutrition and food services.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Eligibility for recognition as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) or preferably as an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian (Adv.APD)
- Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Hospitality in Healthcare;
- Significant experience in both a clinical environment and in a position of responsibility for human resource and budget management
- Extensive knowledge and experience in an acute health setting and proven ability to manage and lead effectively within a large complex health service
- Extensive knowledge of and/or experience with clinical governance, quality improvement and workforce development
- Relevant post-graduate qualification in Management, Public Health or related field preferred
