**About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide professional management and oversight of the efficient delivery of services through the management of administration staff and practices of Ambulatory and Outpatient Services (including SOPD, Oncology, Specialist Outpatients, Antenatal and dedicated Allied Health Services).
About you
Manage all aspects of the performance of administrative staff in line with Queensland Health HR policies and guidelines including performance, skills development, and professional and mandatory training compliance.
Manage the provision of skilled administrative staff to services by implementation of effective rosters and leave management processes, including placement of relief staff to ensure service continuity.
Build the capacity of administration staff through skill development, coaching and mentoring, driving high performance and inspiring staff to contribute to a healthy, high trust work environment.
Participate in administrative recruitment programs, anticipating divisional staffing needs and proactively managing vacancies to provide cover.
Contribute to the financial management of administration staff within the service, ensuring adequate human and physical resources whilst maintaining budget integrity.
