Twelve months ago, we started with an idea: to disrupt the industry with a beautiful, brilliant banking solution designed specifically for small businesses and everyday Aussies. We added some curiosity and bravery. And we built a team of legends.

We’ve now launched the Bank, but it isn’t static. This is a journey that’s only getting started. Everything will be shaped by our customers, as we use insights to guide what features and functions, we build next.

**We need industry stirrer-uppers**

You know: non-conformers. Those who are compelled to do something different. Who care enough about the customer to ask the big questions no one else will. Who want to know what if. What if we tweaked this, or toggled that. You zig when everyone else zags, disagree without being disagreeable, and love the rush of starting something new.

**Specifically, an Experience Designer not boxed in by job title**

In this role, you will define and deliver a digital user experience that builds trust, drives engagement, and sets a new benchmark for digital banking in Australia. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with and feel about their money—every day. Your creative vision and user-centric design execution will simplify complex financial journeys into intuitive, empowering experiences —driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and competitive edge.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll transform ideas into reality and continuously optimise the customer experience based on user feedback and emerging trends.

What we’ve done is quite unique: launching a new mobile App that is powered by the SDK’s of credible technology provider: Engine. We want you to influence the SDK’s of the future, but to also understand opportunities for AMP Bank GO to personalise the customer experience even further with our in-house development team

**What matters**
- Proven experience in UX design, with a proven track record of owning and delivering end-to-end digital experiences - ideally within fintech, banking or other complex service environments
- A strong portfolio showcasing your UX design, strategy and prototyping capabilities across digital products
- You have experience with customer journey mapping, building a design toolkit consisting of customer journey maps, service blueprints and other artefacts to bring CX to life, to understand customers goals, needs, frustrations and opportunities
- You are comfortable with content design and UX writing, ensuring our App copy is consistent and aligned to the AMP Bank GO tone of voice
- You adopt a human-centered design approach, using research and insight to design with purpose and eliminate friction
- You bring knowledge of A/B testing, experiment design, and test analysis to support data-driven UX and product optimisation
- You are customer obsessed, passionate about creating exceptional experiences that improve people’s lives
- You are data driven, and are comfortable building and using a UX measurement framework to understand customer friction points
You are highly proficient in design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar)

But you’ll be part of the original squad, setting the tone for who we become. A lot of it will be trial and error and making mistakes, so you need to be comfortable with things not always going to plan. We are.
